AI-Multi
The AI MSp ELISA kit will measure the amount of Type A Influenza antibody in the serum of animals. Microtitre plates have been pre-coated with inactivated Type AI antigen. Animal serum samples are diluted and added to the microtitre wells where any anti-Type AI antibodies present will compete with Alkaline phosphatase labelled monoclonal anti Type A Influenza. Non-specific antibodies and other serum proteins are then washed away. Substrate is then added in the form of pNPP chromogen. A yellow colour is developed if anti-Type AI antibody is present and the intensity is indirectly related to the amount of anti- Type AI antibody present in the sample. A high optical density is achieved when there is less or no antibody present.
