Cuxavit ß-carotene

Cuxavit ß-carotene contains 10 % stabilised beta-carotene to be used in premixes, mineral feed and feed supplements for animal nutrition.  Besides its function as a precursor of vitamin A, beta carotene promotes fertility, enhances resistance to infections and improves immune responses Dietary supple mentation is recommended when intake of green forage is low or the natural content of beta-carotene is reduced.

According to regulation (EC) 1831/2003 approved  feed additive beta-carotene (E 160 a)

Description:
Free flowing, red to reddish-brown micro granules. Beta-carotene is encapsulated in a matrix of gelatine and carbohydrates and is stabilised with antioxidants. Particle size min. 95 % < 550 µm

Recommended dosage:
Daily dosage Cuxavit ß-carotene per animal
Dairy cows 3,000 - 5,000 mg
Sows 3,000 mg
Mares 4,000 - 8,000 mg
Calves 500 - 1,000 mg
Dogs and cats 300 - 500 mg
